Acesta este ghidul dumneavoastră pentru utilizarea cărților electronice cumpărate de pe site-ul librăriei.
NU descărcați fișierul .acsm înainte de a instala Adobe Digital Editions și de a autoriza computerul cu un ByteBooks ID.
Fișierul .acsm este licența de descărcare, nu ebook-ul propriu-zis. La prima utilizare, licența se asociază contului folosit în Adobe Digital Editions. Verificați cu atenție contul înainte de a deschide fișierul.
Dacă primiți eroarea: E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER
Nu cumpărați cartea din nou și nu încercați repetat același fișier. Scrieți-ne la libraria@ubbcluj.ro, indicând numărul comenzii și titlul cărții și atașând o captură a erorii. Nu trimiteți parola ByteBooks sau coduri OTP.
- Creați sau activați un ByteBooks ID. Dacă ați folosit anterior Adobe ID, utilizați aceeași adresă de e-mail.
- Descărcați și instalați Adobe Digital Editions.
- Autorizați computerul în Adobe Digital Editions cu ByteBooks ID înainte de descărcare.
Din 23 iunie 2026, ByteBooks ID înlocuiește Adobe ID pentru noile autorizări. O instalare Adobe Digital Editions deja autorizată pe același dispozitiv poate fi folosită în continuare.
Do NOT download the .acsm file before installing Adobe Digital Editions and authorizing your computer with a ByteBooks ID.
The .acsm file is the download licence, not the ebook itself. When first used, the licence is associated with the account used in Adobe Digital Editions. Check the account carefully before opening the file.
If you receive the error: E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER
Do not purchase the book again or repeatedly try the same file. Email us at libraria@ubbcluj.ro, stating the order number and book title and attaching a screenshot of the error. Do not send your ByteBooks password or OTP codes.
- Create or activate a ByteBooks ID. If you previously used an Adobe ID, use the same email address.
- Download and install Adobe Digital Editions.
- Authorize your computer in Adobe Digital Editions with your ByteBooks ID before downloading.
Since 23 June 2026, ByteBooks ID has replaced Adobe ID for new authorizations. An Adobe Digital Editions installation already authorized on the same device can continue to be used.
Ce aveți nevoie pentru a citi ebook-urile / What you need to read ebooks
Cărțile electronice vândute pe site-ul librăriei sunt protejate DRM (Digital Rights Management).
Din acest motiv ele nu pot fi citite ca un fișier PDF obișnuit, ci doar cu aplicația Adobe Digital Editions.
E-books sold on the bookstore’s website are protected by DRM (Digital Rights Management).
For this reason, they cannot be read as a regular PDF file, but only with the Adobe Digital Editions application.

Descărcați și instalați aplicația gratuită Adobe Digital Editions. / Download and install the free Adobe Digital Editions application.

După instalare deschideți aplicația pe computer. / After installation, open the application on your computer.
Pasul 3 – Autorizați aplicația / Step 3 – Authorize the application
În Adobe Digital Editions selectați Help → Authorize Computer. La eBook Vendor selectați Adobe ID (denumirea poate apărea încă astfel în aplicație), apoi introduceți adresa de e-mail și parola ByteBooks. Faceți autorizarea înainte de a descărca fișierul .acsm. / In Adobe Digital Editions, select Help → Authorize Computer. Under eBook Vendor, select Adobe ID (the application may still display this name), then enter your ByteBooks email address and password. Complete authorization before downloading the .acsm file.

- Accesați Contul meu / Access My Account
- Deschideți secțiunea Purchased ebooks / Open the Purchased ebooks section
- Descărcați ebook-ul / Download the ebook
- Deschideți fișierul cu Adobe Digital Editions / Open the file with Adobe Digital Editions.
